Gateleg Table (Ikea knock-off) Part 1

This is a gateleg table I built for a friend and finished to the “client’s” specification.

Pocket hole joinery throughout.

@Dave T Thanks Dave, that’s EXACTLY what it was for – in fact very small – the 6 drawers for storage are particularly useful – it was a challenging build in some ways – especially the drawers where I used locked rabbet joinery (no false front so pocket holes were out) for the first time – very difficult to get accurate and when my strap clamp failed for no good reason on the last 2 drawers I was forced to re-build them… sigh…

In place of the 6 drawers I was thinking that you could make matching gateleg chairs/stools that would fit within the space. You may have to make it a little deeper or wider to accommodate them- depending on orientation of them. (Stacked or side-by-side)
