I’ve been having fun recently doing some “re-purposing” projects for a client. This is a coffee table made from a ratty ole palate. I removed two of the slats and replaced them with new walnut. I think put steel between the “open spaces” between the slats. Each side has a drawer with a steel front and a walnut handle, as well as a slot for magazines, etc… The legs are steel hairpin legs which I made pretty quickly at the metal shop in the same building as my studio

i love using salvaged wood, and you did a great job here, i hope things are well, and i hope your open shop business has done good, thanks for showing what your doing…good job.

That’s really cool. Artsy fartsy in the best way. I would not have thought an old pallet would like that neat.

Cool table! Like the look of the pallets which goes very well with the sleek legs. Great job!
