Second round of cutting boards: Walnut and Jatoba end grain cutting boards with hard maple accents. Added rubber feet to the oval one and handles to the other two. Given as gifts to the inlaws

Looks great. Did you find adding those maple accents help cover up any joint/glue up issues? I’m working on my first board and when I lay it out end-grain the pieces don’t exactly want to adhere together just right.

Easystreet – I don’t think the accent stripes helped to cover anything up, if anything it only gives you more opportunities to mess up your glue joints since your adding more of them.
