This was literally made from throw away scraps. What can you do with a piece of wood 2” by 2”? Not one piece was bigger than that. And it took about as long to build as a big box. hinge pins are needles pushed through the side into the top. Then the grain over the needle is squeezed back together and burnished so the hole closes.
