Box is made from cherry with a fitted top of walnut burl. The grain is spectacular and it has a knot section for character. Handle is antler crown. Needs a good sanding and a final coat of poly. Inlay strip was soaked 20 minutes in boiling water to make it flexible to wrap corners. Box is made with finger joints and has no nails or screws except for the one holding the handle. Bottom installed in 1/4” grooves and was installed when the sides were put together. First attempt at a finger joint piece. Built a jig from one seen on youtube.

Very nice, it has an old well used look to it. Nice little treasure you made.

Marvelous little box! Gorgeous burl and great joints. The inlays and the antler handle are great accents. Great job!
