Hi All,

A set of oak mission end tables designed, built and finished to match a friend’s bedroom furniture. Design is pretty straight forward and includes dovetailed drawers, mortise/tenon case joinery, arched rails and laminated solid wood top with z-clips. Handles from LeeValley. I like how the color turned out. He seemed please with it. Fun project.

Very clean, very nice.
Well done!

Very nice tables. What stain did you use?

Thanks for posting.

They look great. Now you need to make a pair of mission chairs to sit beside the end tables.

I love the colour. How did you finish it?

The stain was a homemade blend of 3 Minwax oil-based stains to match his existing furniture. Had to experiment somewhat to get close enough. I topped it off with 7 coats of wipe-on poly.

They look great, classy design. Great choice of wood and hardware. Like the stain and finish. I’m sure your friend was happy. Great job!
