Made a couple of picture frames and a display easel from pine for a fund-raising event for my daughter’s dance team. Made the coves on the table saw with a slanted fence and cut the miters on a new sled I put together the other day. Finished with oil & urethane and rubbed down with a couple coats of paste wax. Turned out pretty well but only made 40 bucks at the silent auction. Okay for 12 bucks worth of wood and supplies I guess.

I can’t imagine why it only got forty bucks. I think it looks great. Welcome to Lumberjocks!

-- Tom Finnigan - Measures? We don't need no stinking measures! - Hmm, maybe thats why my project pieces don't fit.

I’ve never understood live or silent auctions. I’ve had some amazing things go for very little money. I just chalk it up to the crowd and the item. I’ve made the same mesquite planter boxes that people have paid me $160 to make go for as little as $60 at these types of things.

Nice work!
