I made this cane for my grandfather. Its made of Maple with some walnut accents. The tip was purchased from lee valley and it looks really nice. It has two tips, one rubber for inside and pavement and a metal tip for foul weather or hiking. Not sure if he will be doing much hiking hahah but he calls it the cattle prod. Finish was five coats of minwax high gloss poly. He wont let anyone else hold it because he likes it so much, and its always by his side.

Nice job! I like the knob on the end with the walnut, nice touch. I can see why pops won’t let anyone else touch it!

That is a sharp looking walking stick. I like everything about it, especially the finish that you achieved.

Gorgeous cane, like the attractive handle and awesome finish. No wonder he loves it. Great job!
