As many other woodworkers do I finally made my first cutting board. The lines are a little off and it turned out a little smaller than planned but was still fun to make. I used white oak and cherry. Now that I have the first one under my belt and learned the importance of setting the saw up the best you can I will be ready for the next one.

What type of wood did you use? Be careful, because cutting boards can be addictive. Congrats on your first one.

I used white oak and cherry. While they can be addicting they are easy to give away as gifts. The next one I build will find a home at my camper.

It looks great from here. Like the wood colors and finish. Great job! Looking forward to the next one.

Nice job! My first one I applied to much pressure with the clamps and it ended up compressing some of the wood and looked crooked.
