Message Board Something-or-other...

My wife wanted something to put by the door so she could leave me notes if she and kids go anywhere (by “anywhere” I mean the creek or a walk around the village…not really anywhere else to go when you live in the jungle.) So, I had slabbed some pine trees a while back when we were building my co-workers house and had some boards left and came up with this. Nothing fancy, but we have fun leaving each other funny notes on it (the particular not in the picture is from a TV show we had been watching.)

Anyway, I will eventually put some hooks at the bottom to hang my hat, her bag, etc. you get idea. The backing is just 4mm plywood with a chalkboard paint. Everything else is done from wood that I had cut down and slabbed.
