Its been a while since my last project. Let’s just say moving and then then installing a drainage system 9 months in at the new house has kept me busy.

Here is a project that’s been on the to-do list for a while. My 12 year old son no longer has a make-shift bed frame. This design was inspired by Pottery Barn Kids.

The frame is made from melamine. The doors and trim are mdf. The drawer is 1/2” pine with a melamine front. To get this thing up stairs, I put the major pieces together with cross dowels. They are really strong in melamine/particle board.
