Bathroom cabinet remake

The original bathroom cabinet was made from heavily damp damaged particle board and needed to be replaced. I came up with the idea to reuse the mirrors, backing board and internal hardware and make replicas of the particle board items from a more durable kind of wood. I chose to work with laminated oak boards that can be bought in nearly any larger hardware store. Since I already had the templates the new cabinet was quite easy to create. The edges of the oak parts were rounded of with a roundover bit in the router, otherwise the design is identical with the original cabinet. The whole thing was finished with a water based varnish. I also made new mirror handles by using a stainless steel kitchen cabinet handle that was sawn into short pieces (one round and a half round stacked on each other) and then threaded.
