I included elements of Greene and Greene’s the Gamble House in Pasadena, CA specifically the cloud uplift. It took me about 6 weeks to design because I kept tweaking it adding the Greene and Greene cloud details on the feet and keyboard support. I used SketchUp 8 and was quite please with the construction details I could print. I worked out all of the math to within a 1/16.” The only plywood in the whole project are the recessed panels. The rest is solid walnut, mostly 4/4.” The drawers are made of solid maple and dovetailed. I used 1/4” white melamine so they can easily be wiped clean etc. I used Blumotion 27” full extension drawer glides that were somewhat expensive but a must because the desk is 30” deep and I wanted full access.

Very nice. Too bad there’s not more pictures to show the details.

Fine looking desk! Great design, very well executed. Like the finish and the hardware. Excellent job!
