The pizza cutter and ice cream scoop were made from goncalo alves. No idea how to pronounce that. I thought it was a beautiful blank and it turned really nice. The bolt action pens were made from stabilized maple burl one was dyed blue, I only had one and they were arguing over who got the blue one. I tried the CA finish for the first time on the bolt action pens. The fountain pen was from zebra wood for my middle son. He is a big shot in Atlanta. The other sons are red necks like their old man, so they got the bolt action pens. I had hoped to make the daughter-in-laws jewelry boxes but I have been ill the past few months with little or no shop time. I sold a few pens and bowls for Christmas gifts and have received some great feedback and a few orders for more pens. I wish all the Lumberjocks a happy and safe New Year
