I made this for my daughter. Its made of select pine. 22” x 16” x 3/8”. I glued boards then sanded. Laid drawing on then cut out with scroll saw. Added board to bottom for padding. I used an epoxy inlay with black then cut out eyes and did them in red. The inlay was EnvuiroTex Lite ( from Michael’s. It’s main use is for High Gloss Finish for table tops. To get the black I added a few drops of black acrylic paint same for red. Once it has hardened I sanded down. On the finish, i used Rust-oleum autumn wood stain. Then coated with high gloss coating spray. The back was done with 2” foam and 20” x 20” material

That is very impressive … a little scary too! What does the inlay represent, a demon or bull … a school logo ?
I bet that pine was expensive as it looks as very clear pine.

Could you provide more information on the inlay material?

It holds good. Also there is a board under to help. I have done other work and epoxy holds great
