Project Information
My Daughter-in-Law asked me to make a rack for the Grandsons' miniature hockey stick collection. The little sticks were always being left lying around and she wanted a neat and organized place for them.
I milled down some red oak and set about making the project. I used a scaled down gun rack plan that I found on-line.
I made sure that it was made very bottom heavy so they would be unlikely to tip it over on themselves.
I finished it with 3 coats of Min-Wax semi-gloss poly finish and a light coat of Renaissance wax.
The project was a big hit with the boys and their Mother as well.
