Upfront, i will say I completely lifted the design and manufacturing method from the youtube site “The Apprentice and the Journeyman”

Inlay was purchased from About $7.50 for 3 feet. I used about 3 1/2 feet per frame.

Frames are made from Walnet. Inlay is curly maple.
~1/4” x 1/4” rabbit for glass
1/2” round-over bit for outside edging
1/2” diado bit set to about 1/16” depth.

Finished with 3 coats of Waterlox original and some paste wax.

First attempt and pretty happy. Some mistakes on order of operations. For some reason I cut the 45 degree mitres before I put on the 45 deg inside camfer and the rabbit. Would have been much easier doing it with one piece and all at once.

they turned out very nice. Great use of the inlay banding and contrasting woods.

Thanks for sharing.
