First End Grain Cutting Board

My first cutting board. Maple and cherry. Definitely learned alot on this project. Learned alot about clamping. It is about 11×11 and about an inch thick. Father in law likes it, it is his Christmas present. Finished with mineral oil.

It looks great and there is a lot to learn on every one of the cutting boards I’ve made.

Great job. I have my first end grain cutting board in the clamps right now. I am at the stage where you glue the strips before you cut them and flip them to end grain.
