A gift for dad

Here is the first gift I have made for my dad since I was 7 and Im 46 now! Its not large only 12” wide and 3” tall. The wood is red oak and the lines are 1/8” copper tubes. I had intended on drilling holes for the tubes but I ran out of time.I never picked up the music skills he has but I hope I have some of he knack for woodworking.

Thirty nine years in coming ,not bad .
Nice job on this and setting a good example for all of us and it’s never too late .

Thank you both for the kind words.

I had to hot glue the bars on and I hope it holds. It’s just a little something for him to hang on the wall but as you can see by the treble clef I had a little carving fun with it!
