Made a bathroom sink vanity out of cherry with vessel sink on top. Drawers have oak dowels for additional support and for looks. Sides are birch plywood stained cherry to match. Soft closing drawers and doors. Had to make the drawers skinner per customer request. Got the cherry from an Amish auction. The cherry was unused for several years and unkept outside. Made for some very nice colors but also made for very crooked boards. Since I usually use barn boards the crooked boards did not bother me.

My finish was nothing more than high gloss polyurethane, 4 coats.
