I needed a sled for cutting small parts, ruizd came up with a great sled for small parts, but it did not quite fit what I wanted, so I modified it by adding another knob to one side of the sliding fence on the right side and adding a clamp hold down position at the rear of the sliding fences, the clamp idea came from Izzy Swan, and I modified it a little bit by making it so I had two hold downs on the same clamp, and making it longer, giving it more reach. I hot glued erasers onto the bolts so they would not mar the wood.
I had to experiment with the placement of the hold down bolts and one of them is adjustable, backward and forward, while the position of the whole clamp is adjustable also. there may be more modifications on it as I start using it, but at least I have a place to start now.
I would like to thank ruizd and Izzy Swan for their ideas, and I hope they don’t mind my borrowing them.

Hold on, this looks like a good idea after idea after idea.

I have never seen anyone make a de-sta-co clamp out of wood before, that is amazing.

I guess I “borryed ” an inspiration Jim. lol
thanks guys for all the great comments.
one thing I’ve already changed is, I lengthened the fence on the right side so that I have more adjust-ability on that side.
now I need a way to make it all more repeatable.
btw, I am using a 1/16” kerf blade on this. works great and less waste.

thank you Izzy, so far it is working out great, I was totally amazed that it hit the top three today.
but I can’t take all the credit for this , all I did was make a few modifications to suit my needs, all though there are all kinds of possibilities for others to modify it to fit their needs with both the sled and clamps.
