Nice bowl! I love working cherry, it turns so smooth and nice! Sounds like you need a lathe! You’d love turning—Chunk of wood or glued up bowl—turn—sand—finish—buff/polish, viola! finished product ready to do whatever with! By the way, what did you finish your cherry bowl with?

Great looking bowl. I like working with Cherry as well, but I also had problem with the wood burning. What I am going to buy is a Ring Master machine…much easier cutting and sanding

True Cherry burns easily, but it turns so nice. I have turned some on my ring master and my lathes and they came out just fine.
