This was extra wood that was left over from a pie safe. I was able to cut out the boxes and made box joints great way to use up those short extra pieces of wood up.

These are NICE! A great use of scrap wood! I do the same thing and know how much work is involved. It takes the same effort to build a box out of scrap as it does the finest materials. Then you have to finish them! A great looking bunch o’ boxes! What will you do with them? Boxes are beginning to fill every nook and cranny in my house!

Jerry, I have five grand children and I thought it would be a good present. So far I have made 38 boxes and a small dent in the scrap wood bend. I hope to sell them for 40 bucks a piece .

I lost a good friend to cancer this year and made this piece for his wife to sell to help with the medical bills. This was a labor of love for a dear friend.

awesome job on these boxes. I like the joints as well as the lids! the variation between them all makes them unique, too.
Great work, good luck with the sale!

As what they said, don’t throw/burn scrap woods. Those boxes are fantastic! Good job.
