Well they are done-17 of them. walnut and Big leaf Maple. Fun little boxes. Happy to be off to a little larger project though. Wipe-on Oil poly on the out side and a food safe salad bowl finish inside. Little legs were a pain but I sure like them. Happy to be finished in plenty of time for christmas. Enjoy

Those are some beautiful boxes. You have a lot of work in those legs!! I bet you’re glad that job is done. Nice work and they will make great gifts!

I love these, Mike. Your shop must look like a candy store when you get a box run all made up and finished!

Don’t you just love making Christmas gifts…. love the woods you used. Did you use hinges on the boxes? Show a couple with the lid open if you can. And what are the sizes?

Thanks all -boxes are fun- you get to use pieces of wood that would be thrown away.
Production? I call it obsessed. :)
Barb- I do not know about candy store but it is a mess!! :)
No hinges- lids just lift off. they are all about 4 1/2×4 1/2×4-5” Then the legs and/or the top add to height. I will get a picture of inside- nothing special.
I love making christmas gifts- I am now working on a home for my christmas gift- a vise- building a bench for it.

Some great boxes! Good use of the scrap. Would hate to see that beautiful wood in the burn pile.
