It is made of pine/spruce. It is a fun project, costs around nothing and is a good practice for making dovetails. The hinges were more expensive than the wood. There are two tray’s which can be used to store jewelries.
It is all made by hand. It is coated with two coats of linseed oil and one coat of bri-wax. Paul Sellers makes one in a few hours, for me it took me almost a day.

That’s a nice clean box and will have many different uses as well as for jewelry.

There is no support for the trays, there are just two of them stacked on each other. Both are just dovetailed with a board glued to the bottom
