I had an order of two mallets for a customer to give as Christmas gifts…does anyone else have the if two are good, I might as well make 5 or 10 mindset?

Yes. I did the same thing last year. Almost every relative now has a mallet. It seems you can just make one.
They are nice looking mallets.

They look great.
I did 4 last time (over 10 years ago). Mine are looking beat-up, maybe time to clear out the lathe and do a few more.
