Just a real quick fun project. First and foremost thanks to mr. DenHerder for the inspiration and the posting of his video. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a quick, easy, and beautiful project. Made one for mom, one for the mother in law. Now my mormor (moms mom, grandmother to the non scadinavians) has promptly requested (threatened with bodily harm) one.

I laminated a scrap piece of ambrosia maple and walnut, divided them into four, drilled some 3/4 holes and that was that. Mr. DenHerder original project had more candles but I divided into four for the advent season. He also has plans and templates that he will gladly email you. I didn’t use them because I was going for four candles.

Finish is zinssers shellac and deft high gloss spray lacquer.

3.5 cm wide 27 cm long. (10.5 inches long 1 3/4 wide

Thanks for looking

I love the contrast of the wood color and the design.
Now I have to put on my list.
Thank you for sharing.
