I made 3 of these for Troop 219 Fort Mill SC. The box holds everything a patrol needs to cook and clean. The cool thing is the legs slide into the sides of the box so 4 scouts can carry the box with no problems. I used Birch Plywood for the box and pine 2×4’s for the legs.

Those are great looking “Patrol Boxes”/”Chuck Boxes”.
We’re deciding on a design for our troop. The general vote seem to be for Blue Sky Kitchen's design. The Grubby One. I was leaning more towards your design. I feel it has more working counter space.
Right now everything is just piled on shelves in the troop trailer. A sore spot with me since my boys crossed over to Boy Scouts. Way to unorganized. The boxes would help alot.

Gary,
The nice thing about this is the scouts cook on one side and clean on the other. There is a space for everything, stove, pots, pans, propane tree, the three wash bins and lantern also goes in the box. After bringing the box to the camp all they need to go back to the trailer for is personal gear. We had the chuck boxes that you would have to put on a table but they would not hold as much and the guys would have to make many trips.
Thanks for looking.
Jim,
Your right it can be used for other applications.
Thanks.
