Here is a short video I made highlighting the latest net I just shipped off to Florida. This wood is a phenomenal piece of Stabilized Spalted Maple Burl. I see a lot of nice woods, and this is top-notch. The hoop is subtle, but shiny Curly Maple. I named this one Cartography as the “islands” of black-lined spalting remind me of islands along the coastline on a 15th century map. This customer was THRILLED! So thrilled, we are now working on another net using imported Turkish Walnut. Thanks for watching.

The video is here (Approximately 1.5 minutes long):

Absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to see the one you make from Turkish Walnut. I have two shot guns with stocks of Turkish Walnut—one is nice and the other is almost as eye catching as this Spalted Maple Burl.

I love seeing your nets. One day I’d like to own one.

It is beautiful – kinda wants to make me put on my waders and get “out there”.

Great looking piece of wood, I would just hang it on the wall for display
