I finished both these pens yesterday, the Banksia blank is a resifill and I had a small tearout at the top of the bottom section. A bit of thought and I decided that I could rectify this by cutting the torn piece from the tube and fitting a piece of Ebony. That way it would match up with the Gold and black centre band.
The JD is from the US and they are both sanded up to 1800grit and finished with CA.
Hope you enjoy these and thanks for looking.
C & C welcome as usual.
Bob.

Like them both Bob, but leaning heavily on the Banksia, what did you use to fill the holes with? Since you already have my home address, you know where to send the Banksia one

Don, it was all filled with resin when I got the blank.
