In the late 80s I worked in a furniture factory that did the cabinets and joinery for Mirage Resorts at Main Beach,
Gold Coast and Port Douglas. You Aussies may remember Christopher Skase, international man of mystery, these were his babies. The timber is Tasmanian Oak. This is some of the millwork done in house.
The 1st is the ” Texcaster Perpetual Best Of Class ”. The wheels used to say ” DOUBLE RAD “
The 2nd, reeded drawer fronts, now treads to my loft. Both are from the late 80s.
-- Mama calls me Texcaster but my real name is Mr. Earl.

They all look great. Like their rustic charm and vintage appeal with great stories behind.
Have your say...
