Hi Everyone, I’ve been lurcking here for a while and finally decided to join. Many of the projects here have really inspired me and opened up my eyes. Some things i didn’t know were possible with wood until i came here. Thanks Again to everyone.

Anyway, Here is my first real project. The Only things i made with wood previous to this was a work bench and a bird house. The work bench was a pallet i bolted some 2×4’s on and screwed plywood to the top. Not exactly furniture making.

So i bought a my first house and got married to my HS sweetheart all within the last few months and as a wedding present i received my first table saw. She wanted me to organize some of my golf clubs so i decided to make a putter rack. This is how it came out.

I used 1/2”x6” Poplar for the whole project. I def. made some mistakes and learned a whole lot along the way. Like to test on scrape wood before making cuts… I used dados to join the top with the 2 side rails. The back piece at the top is attached with dados and a rabbett.

I hope you all like it and feel free to comment.

All I can say is that anyone with that many putters needs to learn how to putt! Kidding aside, real nice work on the stand.

Not pictured is my Ping putter thats my gamer.

But yes, i do need to work on my putting. However, my new hobby (woodworking) is getting in the way.

Thanks for the kind words.

Good start.
I don’t putt but my fishing rods and poles would fit in there very nicely.

That’s a great looking rack to display and organize your golf clubs. Well done!

Have your say...
