I’ve been sitting on my rear for 5 weeks recovering from knee surgery. My PT said I could finally do a little something so I jumped on a few small projects I had in mind.

The first is a curly maple potpourri box. Finished in Danish oil & a satin lacquer.

Next is a post office box bank made of poplar. finished in spray enamel. I have seen many banks but have not seen one in the shape of a bulk mail box so I remedied the situation. I am trying to decide on which USPS logo to use on it. So I suppose it is not truly finished?
Sorry the picture is sideways. I can’t figure out how to flip it.

Thanks for looking.

The curly maple box is beautiful but I LOVE the design of your piggy bank! Probably gonna steal it!

Great looking boxes! Like the wood choices and the designs, really cool with beautiful finish. Well done!
