I know this is not real original but I wanted to make one anyway. Believe it or not this is cherry even though it does not have the color. This is my first attempt and you can see where I screwed up cutting into the side. But all in all I thought it was a nice project and the addition of the stand made it nice.

Nick I do like your design. I think we all find our “mistakes” even when no other person can see them

Okay, this is just too cool! Another great choice of wood… Cherry! And I love the message and symbolism of Ying and Yang. Awesome! Impressive! And I like the flaws… always have… Some other lumberjock’s bi-line is something like this… “It doesn’t have to be perfect, just meaningful.” I agree! :) Enjoy it!!! And keep something special in it!

That is a great looking band saw box! I like the concept and you’ve executed it nicely! It doesn’t look like a work of a first timer, seems like you’ve been making saw boxes for long. You have done well.

It came out looking good. Like the shape and the stand. A first band saw box to be proud of. Great job!
