Cabinet shown with Cathedral model

This is a model of the cabinet I posted last year cabinet #8. Some of you wanted to see plans of the project I am working on. So I started posting blogs of various sections of the cathedral plans. If you are interested I will post some additional plans in the years to come. Thanks for viewing

This doesn’t appear to be a finished project, nor made of wood.

I am thinking this would be a great blog, but I doubt it belongs in the projects section.

It will be made of all hardwood walnut, maple, and oak. No plastic or foam board or any other typical material used by todays standard of model making. It might be hard to believe but some cathedral models were made of wood years ago. Here is an example created 85 years ago and had conservation done in the 1990’s by the Walker Art Gallary. Origionally designed for Liverpool”s Cathedral.
