Great job. What did you use for the bar top? Is that painted stripes or is that in the wood?

Hey Jwentzelfl,
I actually joined a antique boat club to learn how to do some things….
Every 2 and a half inch’s is a kerf cut from either a router bit or table saw blade which runs 1/8 inch wide… and 1/8” deep.
Next comes the stain, then you put caulk into the kerf cuts drawing your finger through it making a u shaped well…white or black works fine…you’ll be covering it up with paint anyway…
Then comes the varnish and once you get that perfect (14 coats) you use a paint/pin striping tool to draw a bright white line down the kerf… http://www.beugler.com
Once this is all done you feel every kerf cut because the paint line you last rolled on is still below the top surface…
Sorry about the late comment but I’ve been on a boat trip for sometime know….
