This is a loft bed that has both full size on top and bottom. We built this is a theme from the Beatles Yellow Submarine. It was built in May 2013.
Bookcase Stairs
The stairs leading to the top bunk also has some story use to them. We cut holes in the side to use it as a bookcase as well.
Slide
The slide was an off-the-shelf slide form Lowes. Normally I build the slide, but the customer suggested we use this one.
Overall it was a fun project. The size was a little long once you counted the slide. It came to a total of 110” long. I did recently build another version that had the slide on the side. Put this one in your favorites or click the “Watch” button and I’ll put the new version link on here soon.
