It sets on a Table or Mantle. It flows and bends in a Smooth Graceful Flow. It is very calming to be around for me. My designs are all unique and spontaneous. I love to flow with the Will of the Wood. I don’t do many abstracts but I really enjoy carving them. This piece is carved out of a beautiful piece of Quilted Maple Wood. It is an awesome piece of wood. It’s all shimmery and glowing. The light really plays with the flowing curves.

This is a link to the piece to see more angles. Click on the picture when you go to the link and it will show 5 different angles:

This is a link to my etsy shop:

It measures in at 8 1/4” tall x 9 1/4 wide” x 2 5/8” deep.

It stands up and would go on any shelf or table top. It does not hang on the wall.

It’s very smooth and has a great feel to it. The Enamel finish really sets off the grain colors and all of the sculpted lines.

I call this piece “Curves”. Smooth flowing lines, Curving round and round, Calmly shifting from one plane to another.

Cool project, more pics of this at different angles would help us enjoy this work of art more.

Good display of the wood.

Just for the enjoyment of the wood and shape. Very nice and as you say, unique.

Nice sculpture. You’ve nicely highlighted the beauty in that piece of wood in an interesting and attractive way.
