This fireplace mantel was is made of Quartered Oak with a custom dye stain finish. The wood is surrounding a Motawi tile custom pattern. I have made a trundle bad for these customers in the past and they asked me to do the mantel for them.

Great tile design and complimentary mantel. The use of squares is very effective in your design.
Nice use of detail, yet with a scale that doesn’t overwhelm the small firebox.

Be proud, be very proud.
