This wooden mallet is made of walnut and cherry. The design is inspired by Steve Ramsey’s Woodworking for Mere Mortals video on making a wooden mallet. It utilizes a tenon with wedges to connect the handle and head. I filled the head with copper pellets. I re-purposed an old wallet for the leather. I finished it with linseed oil. I really enjoyed making this mallet, hope you like it.

Great looking mallet, great joinery and I’m sure it will handle the job well.
