Just a quick little project! I think the most fun thing about this project, was the finishing it in 2 days part. I loved seeing results so quickly, especially after my 3-4 month previous project! No idea what kind of wood it is, but I finished it with double boiled linseed oil. | |||||||

Nice work, I make my own for every frame in the house and still prefer handmade by me to anything store bought.

Nice job who cares what the timber is,
Only LJ types will be checking the frame out anway, most will focus on the main attractions.
No doubt an update on your home photo!
In saying that I like the doweled butt joints! nice touch.
