I built a base for my bandsaw out of 2×4s and using some clever levers and an idea I got off of Youtube, made the base mobile, so I can easily wheel it around the shop, then drop it to the floor and have it be rock stable. I also added a little electrical box to make plugging in the saw and shop vac easier (and added a kill switch for both!).
In fact, this worked so well, I plan to retrofit my router table with one of these lever-bases. Really happy with how it turned out!!
For the construction details, I have a two part blog series.
Part 1, building the framework.
Part 2, adding the wheels and finishing the electrical work.
Thanks for looking!

That looks great. I made a table that looks kind of like that, minus the rollers, for my belt sander. I built a portable base like that for my 14” band saw.
