Materials: Big leaf maple, rosewood
Finish: Aerosol lacquer

After my father died I made several of these small capsules to share his cremains with my sisters. The body is made from big leaf maple harvested on our property. A dental pick was used to gently lift off the bark to expose the live edge. The end caps are rosewood.

Beautiful work, like the shape, attractive wood combo and the finish is flawless.
