Thanks to OakHill for posting this,,

I made one of my own – just in time to store it for the winter. Found some plans here Made from Cedar and 1/2” dia copper pipe. Used a 10 degree angle.

I used the spacing between the rungs per the plan, but I made adjustments so that I could cut a 10’ stick of 1/2 copper for the rungs, maximizing the rung length so that the sum of the lengths for each side was just less than 10’. The attached spreadsheet’s far right column shows the length that I cut the copper.

Like Oakhill, I put some threaded rods (2 per side) through the rungs to stiffen it, and then plugged the holes with 1” cedar plugs.

It’s beautiful and well made. Can’t wait to see the vines growing on them. Great job!
