This quilt hanger was made so i could show of a quilt my mom has made for me .Quilt hanger is made out of Butternut it is 72 inches long and six inches high .It is hung on the wall with a french cleat system. it has a 5 inch shelf on top so I can display some more nic naks . the finish is a coat of zinser sanding sealer then a coat of minwax cherry stain on it and five coats of minwax satin polyurethane from a spray can.The rod is held in place with threaded inserts and brass screws from woodcraft .My mom recieved a second place ribbon for this quilt at quilt show it was entered in.

I love this. My mother in law would love this as she is an avid quilter. I gotta find some plans. Thanks for posting!
