I saw Kiefer’s post this weekend and I couldn’t wait to get in the shop and put something together for myself. I have quick release wood vise’ on each end of this 6’ table and the Third Hand Jig was a much needed addition, I just didn’t know it until seeing his post. I modified a couple hand clamps with brass pins pressed into the hole that retains the other clamping end. I may modify a couple F clamps for a little extra clamping power when needed.
Great idea Kiefer! Thanks!!!
Jerry

What a great idea, I’ll be fitted with one by the end of the day myself!

Favorited. Saw the earlier post and it is at the top of my shop additions list.
Like your take on it.

That looks handy, but I’d have to hang a red flag on the end of the clamp to keep from running into it. lol

I dont’t know why, but I didn’t see Kiefers post before yours. I like his Ideas and engineering very much. But in this case, I like your quick-clamp-version even more. Thanks a lot for sharing!
