He inspired me to catch my own.
Mounted proud of the Oak plaque with some dowels (pic 3)
Sprayed with laquer. I like the white color of the Aspen much better than the Poplar which darkened considerably. However I do like the design of the second Plaque better than the straight square plaque.
Aspenbass has a brass plate saying “Larry’s big fish story” as I am giving it away as a simple gift.
Fun project you can finish in an evening when you can’t locate your TV remote.
Poplartrout lost a bottom tooth in the struggle to land him in the boat.

Joe,
Literally right-mouse clicked on Rance’s picture, printed it and blew it up on the copier until it was the size I wanted. Then used carbon paper to trace image onto the wood and cut it out.
