Thanks to Greg The Cajun Box Sculptor and Andy for the tips and tricks to carving. Oak with birch splines finished with danish oil and wipe on poly. It is 4 inches tall and about 3 and a half wide. Probably gonna be a pencil holder. It was a lot of fun going to town on this thing. A whole bunch of sawdust and sanding though.

Looks great. You are learning from two of the best when it comes to sculpting boxes – Andy & Greg do a phenomenal job on their projects I hate sanding far to much to give sculpting a chance ;-))

Cool box! It will make a great pencil holder. Like the splines and the carving. You are off to a good start.
Have your say...
