Where the telly goes

I had to make something to get the tv a bit higher up because our little Sheldon got to a point in his life where he wanted to meet the people in the tube. We had some elm hidden in a back corner of our shop and seeing as I had never used any and I’ve heard it’s practically extinct around here I used it to make this. The white part is a scrap of corian. Putting it on the wall also allowed for a bit more space on the floor for playin!

Nice and simple design. The joinery looks real nice!

That’s a very well made telly stand. The through tenons and dovetails both look real good. Your corian I thought was maple at first. And this is the first time I seen anything made of elm.

Practical and functional project. Great use of space and great joints. Great job!
