The backers are cherry and the names are poplar. 24 inches wide by 10 inches tall. Cherry is finished first with shellac, then antique maple gel stain then two coats of poly. Names are finished with spar urethane spray.

This was my first attempt at band/scroll sawing words. I designed the names on the computer and printed out on adhesive paper. The names came off the saw with minimal saw marks so sanding didnt take long. It was easier then I thought which is good because I think I’ll be asked to make more.

- thanks for looking

Good looking and functional build, like the fonts and the finish. I’m sure each member of the family would like one. Great job!
